  1. I downloaded Google Translate and it seems that it doesn’t have the hovering function like word lens had, is this correct?.

  2. Mi amour Fluenz – Espagnol y Francais langues. Tambien Babbel, Duolingo apps muy buena. Aimer le français et l’espagnol langues!

  3. Hi Sonia! First of all, just want to say I really love your videos, I travel a lot and I think they are really useful 🙂
Secondly, I just want to tell you I live in China (I am a Brazilian, but have been here in Nanjing for 5 years) and Google is blocked here, if not very restricted. I only access it because I have a vpn, which I think tourists won’t have. Google translator will probably not work here and I would recommend baidu’s translator (fanyi.baidu.com) for a more accurate chinese-english translation

  4. PS …I was in Miami yesterday , what a mess. Not what it used to be. Wall to wall crazy South American Criminal types and a real bad mix. Good luck , you might consider changing your zip code.

  5. Thoughts on learning languages simultaneously. I’m planning a trip to Argentina and Southern Brazil.  Should I learn Spanish and Portuguese together? If I have to choose one, which?  I think Spanish because I travel to Mexico a fair bit too.

  6. I’m a Fluenz Spanish alum and German student, and I noticed some familiar faces on your "Our Story" page.  Do any of your behind-the-scenes staff lend their voices to the program?

  7. Thank you for great tips! I’m trying to find Word Lens in  AppStore but when I search it only Polyglocam appears. Is it something different or has it changed the name?

  8. You conveniently left out the fact that Fluenz is $300. That’s fine, but it would have been nice to know before downloading.

  9. You’re adorable! And your videos have been a great resource for my travels, thanks. The Google translate app is amazing! I’m moving to China next year to teach English, and start a business, and I’m seriously considering using Fluenz to learn Mandarin! Wish me luck!
Maybe you could make a video where you share a bit more about your experience in China? …tips, advice?

  10. As much as I would love to have Fluenz, since I am teaching myself french. It is way out of my price range. Ill try to save up for it but for now I continue with the apps I have.

  11. A fantastic spanish-english dictionary app is wordreference – it’s the only one our teachers let us use at our school. This is more for looking up individual words and some phrases rather than learning a language. wordreference also has other languages, French being one of them

  12. Is the word lens app still available, I can’t seem to find it in the AppStore 🙁
Also I love your videos !
Thanks for making them, you are a great help ‘😁💖

  13. 1:33 – Let’s imagine that you and I are at a restaurant … Yes, I imagine it. Actually, I’m dreaming about it right now 🙂

  14. I have been a subscriber and weekly watcher of your videos for ages. I have also had my heart set on picking up your Fluenz program for Spanish & Portuguese for almost as long. I previously spent a hideous amount of money on your competition’s language program which I hated and resold on eBay for a fraction of what I paid. Any chance you would offer your subscribers a one time only discount on your program? If you did, I’d scoop it up in a heartbeat! Thanks for all the amazing travel tips each week Sonia!

  15. Hi Sonia. Just an update. Word Lens App is no longer available. It says, ""This download is no longer available. This could be due to the program being discontinued, having a security issue or for some other reasons".

  16. I just discover your channel today and I’m loving your videos. So useful and this is totally going to help me. Thanks.

  17. Sonia is Fluenz downloadable in real time or do you have to order the package with the CDs? Also I read some reviews saying that you don’t learn all that much Spanish because of the slow pace of the exercises are you going to release newer lessons later on or?

  18. Me and my wife always follow ur videos and wait for nxt thursday to come.. Ur presentation is superb!! My wife use to call u ‘Cute-Sonia’… hehe.. Anyways, We love u and ur show.. it’s really a lot helpful… Specially ur make-up tips.. My wife has seen that show for several times… U know.. girls love make-ups!!! lolz

  19. Hi Sonia,@ Soniatravels the sample sessions are not working anymore, is it still possible to benefit of it please? Interested about Spanish and maybe a future customer of yours. BTW I like what you are doing.

  20. Hi Sonia – great video…thanks!  I’m traveling to Italy in June and your videos have helped me so much.  It will be my first time traveling to Europe…I’m so excited!!!!!  I’m planning to learn some Italian but I’m also hoping that my Spanish skills will help a little.

  21. I LOVE WordLens! I bought and paid for the whole load long before Google bought it, and it was well worth it.

  22. I’ve been binge watching your videos in preparation for an upcoming big trip and now I know why you look familiar. Fluenz!!! My bf is using Fluenz to learn Spanish and he loves it. Your channel is awesome and you have the greatest travel tips.

  23. Thankyou so so so so much! I’ve been studying spanish for 6 years now and seriously, disecting and translating essays in a foreign language aint so easy, especially when you have to flick through a dictionary every five minutes! I’ve been a sub for a longggg while now and I love your videos but as a student I dont really travel much… yet! so not many of your videos have been relevant to me at the moment (Theyre all super awesome so keep up the good work! Im sure all your travel knowledge will pay off someday for me) until this one! Im certain this app will become my new favourite, the translations are fast, easy and accurate! I can’t thank you enough for sharing this 🙂 ¡Muchas gracias y hasta pronto :)!
